P2D5-treatment decreases myocardial ICAM-1 expression. Treatment with the broad complement inhibitor FUT-175 (ZDF+FUT, grey bar) resulted in significantly decreased areas of vascular ICAM-1 expression compared to both untreated ZLC (ZLC+PBS, open bar) and untreated ZDF (ZDF+PBS, black bar) rats.
