WNV^C6/36 induced greater IFN α/β production in primary myeloid dendritic cells than WNV^BHK. Primary DCs were inoculated with diluent (mock) or with WNV at MOI of 50. Culture supernatants were harvested at 48 hpi, and IFN bioassays were performed as described in legend of figure 3. Two independent experiments were performed, and the averages ± standard deviations from one experiment, performed in triplicates, are shown.
