Quantitation of cytokine production in co-cultures of naive CD4+ CD62L+ T cells with resting, LPS or flagellin-activated Muc1^+/+ and Muc1^−/− BM-DC. Culture supernatants were harvested after 4 days from the DC and naive CD4+ CD62L+ T cell cocultures (at a 1: 5 ratio) and quantified for cytokine elaboration by multiplex cytokine array analysis (see Materials and Methods). The following cytokines were measured: TNF-α (a), IL-12p40 (b), IFN-γ (c) and IL-13 (d). Data are pg/ml of the DC/T cell co-culture ± 1 standard deviation about the mean.
