The subfigure on the left compares the estimated slope functions of Model I, while the one on the right compares those Model II. In all the subfigures, the sold black lines are the true slope coefficients. The solid dark-gray lines are estimators using the proposed method but with the misspecified f (x|w), and the dashed dark-gray ones are estimators using the proposed method for the correct model. As a comparison, the dotted light-gray lines are the naive estimates and the dot-dashed light-gray ones are from regression calibration.
