Intracochlear stimulation in a cochlear-implant patient. The loudness of the tinnitus is plotted for the right and left ear as a function of time during the trial. First a 2- to 6-MHz inaudible carrier is presented, followed by the application of a broadband noise stimulation to the speech processor (both presented unilaterally to the right ear).
