For the tract-probability-map method, overlap indices (mean ± standard deviation) for each tract comparing healthy volunteers to individuals with multiple sclerosis. An overlap index of 1 indicates perfect correspondence between the reconstructed tract and the atlas, whereas an overlap index of 0 indicates no correspondence. The p-values account for differences in age between the two groups and for multiple scans per participant.
