Correlation coefficients relating tract-specific MRI indices derived from conventional tractography (vertical axes) and the tract-probability-map method (horizontal axes) to clinical disability scores appropriate to that tract. Note that the correlation coefficients derived from the two methods are similar even when the coefficients themselves are small (e.g., corticospinal tract vs. 25-foot walk), except for the case of the optic tract, where the tract-probability-map method fails.
