Time course of a single trial in the current experiment. Participants began with their finger on a centrally located start button. Following presentation of a critical go-cue (biological or non-biological), participants prepared and executed the appropriate movement. TMS pulses were delivered 30, 130 and 230 ms post-stimulus. After gripping the manipulandum participants returned their finger to the start button and awaited presentation of the subsequent trial.
