Immunodetection of the α and β subunits of cytochrome b₅₅₉ in wild type and the T363 fusion mutant of Synechocystis 6803. Isolated membranes were fractionated on a 16–22% polyacrylamide gradient gel, electrophoretically transferred to nitrocellulose filters, and probed with monospecific antibodies raised against cytochrome b₅₅₉ α subunit (Upper) and β subunit (Lower). Cells were grown in light without glucose.
