Oil Red O Staining of PCLS. PCLS were cultured for; t0 (A), 48 hours in the absence of ethanol (B), 48 hours in the presence of 25 mM ethanol (C), and the presence of 25 mM ethanol and 0.50 mM 4-MP (D). Light microscopy photographs were taken at random on a Nikon Microphot-FXA microscope under 325X magnification. Photographs were taken using a Colorview II Olympus Camera and Software, and the figures are representative of six separate experiments.
