AA partly restores the activity of iPLA₂ in superoxide generation in neutrophils. Neutrophils (25 × 10⁶/ml) were incubated with BEL (20 μM) for 15 min at 37°C and then washed at 1000 rpm for 10 min at room temperature with PBS. Cells were then incubated with AA (10 μM) at 37°C for 30 min before being stimulated by 1 μM fMLP. Superoxide generation released was assessed by cytochrome C reduction and was read in a spectrophotometer at 550 nm for triplicate samples. Data are presented as nanomoles of O₂⁻. Results are expressed as mean ± SEM for n = 3.
