Erk2f/fdLck-icre mice possess normal T cell compartments. A, Lymphocytes within the thymus, lymph nodes, and spleens of 12-13-wk-old Erk2T−/− (Erk2f/fCre+, open bars) and control (Erk2f/fCre or Erk2+/+Cre+, filled bars) mice were analyzed by flow cytometry. Representative FACS plots and pooled data indicating proportions and absolute numbers of lymphocytes, CD4, and CD8 T cells in indicated compartments are shown. The data presented are the means ± SD. The FACS plots are gated on live lymphocytes, and numbers indicate proportion of the same. B, Proportion of CD44high CD4 and CD8 T cells in the lymph nodes and spleens of WT and Erk2T−/− mice. The data presented are the means ± SD. C, Purified CD4 and CD8 T cells from lymph node were analyzed for the presence of Erk1 and Erk2 by Western blotting.
