(A) Receptor-induced translocation of PKCε to the plasma membrane. The FcεRI of RBL-2H3 cells were sensitized by the addition of 0.5 μg/ml anti-DNP IgE for 16 h. Confocal images were obtained in a time lapse experiment, during which a series of 120 images were recorded at 5-s intervals. Receptor cross-linking was performed by addition of 4 μg/ml DNP-HSA after 45 s of recording. The images shown were recorded at 0 (a) and 200 s (b). (B) Average data of the time course of plasma membrane translocation of PKCε after stimulation of the receptor by antigen.
