Pancreas data have their basis in 24 tumors analyzed in the current study; brain data have their basis in 21 nonhypermutable tumors analyzed in (15); and colorectal and breast data have their basis in 11 breast and 11 colorectal tumors analyzed in (14). Nonsilent numbers in parentheses refer to percentage of total non-synonymous mutations, and substitutions numbers in parentheses refer to percentage of total substitutions. The total number of substitutions includes synonymous as well as nonsilent mutations identified in the indicated study.
