Values are the averages ± standard deviations of 4 replicates. Dissociation constants (Kd) for heme-related compounds were determined following quenching of intrinsic fluorescence of recombinant hookworm GSTs, and IC50s of heme-related compounds were determined for hookworm GST-catalyzed GSH-CDNB conjugation.
