Growth curves and E protein synthesis of Glubinnoe/2004 and 205 in pig kidney embryo (PKE) cells: monolayer of PKE cells were infected with Glubinnoe/2004 and 205 of tickborne encephalitis virus (TBEV). The cells were frozen and thawed 3× to release the virus, and infectious titers were determined by the viral cytopathic effect (in 50% tissue culture infective doses [TCID₅₀]/mL^–1) assay in PKE cells.
