Table 2. Statistical indicators of global and specific radiation-induced changes.

ΔB represents the scaling (relative) B-factor increase, which is proportional to the dose; R R describes the magnitude of radiation-induced specific changes after correction for the overall decay. The ratio R RB compares the rate of radiation-induced specific changes accumulated between different crystals and represents the fraction of structure-factor change per unit of scaling B-factor increase. Δano represents the level of the anomalous signal obtained from diffraction data after applying corrections for overall and specific radiation-damage effects as well as various scaling effects (Borek et al., 2003; Otwinowski et al., 2003).
