Arf6 depletion does not affect lipolysis stimulated by IBMX, forskolin, or cAMP analogue. 3T3-L1 adipocytes were treated with a negative control siRNA (NC) or an siRNA recognizing Arf6. Two days posttransfection, cells were starved and stimulated with 1 mM 8-bromo-cAMP (8-Br-cAMP), 0.5 mM IBMX, or 10 μM forskolin for 1 h, and glycerol release was assayed and normalized to total protein. *P < 0.05.
