Mean (±SE) changes in body composition after 7 mo of treatment with 3 g/d of an 80% conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) 50:50 mixture of cis-9,trans-11 and trans-10,cis-12 isomers in triglyceride form compared with a sunflower-oil placebo. Results are expressed as the percentage of body weight, and the differences were determined by a 2-tailed t test.
