Effect of β-carbolines and R-(-)-deprenyl on the H₂O₂-induced cell death and GSH depletion. PC12 cells were treated with 100 µM of H₂O₂ in the presence of compounds (25 µM β-carbolines, 25 µM R-(-)-deprenyl and 10 µg/ml catalase) for 24 hours. Data are expressed as the percentage of control for cell viability and nmol/µg protein for the GSH contents.
