Cdk1-dependent phosphorylation of Sae2 Ser-267 during meiosis. A and B, SAE2-HA and sae2-S267A-HA diploid cells were transferred to sporulation medium (SPM). A, at the indicated times after meiosis induction, DNA content was analyzed by FACS. B, protein extracts were immunoprecipitated with anti-HA antibody and subjected to Western blot analysis with anti-HA and anti-γS267 antibodies. Immunoprecipitation was also performed on untagged diploid cells (SAE2) 3 h after transfer to SPM.
