γ-secretase inhibitor reduces BACE1 expression in the brains of AD model mice. PS1KI and 3xTgAD mice were injected with γ-secretase inhibitor (GSI) or vehicle every day for 7 days. (A) Cerebral cortex tissue was homogenized and BACE1 and β-actin levels were examined by immunoblots. (B) Quantitative analysis showed increased levels of BACE1 in PS1KI and 3xTgAD mice compared to wild type mice, and a significant reduction following γ-secretase inhibitor treatment.
