Neurons expressing ectopic Ago2 acquire normal dendritic arbor structure. Individual optic tectal neurons expressing GFP or GFP + Ago2 were imaged daily over 3 days in living animals (A). Total dendritic branch length (B) and branch tip number (C) were determined on 3D reconstructions of tectal neurons. Total branch length and branch tip number are comparable between GFP and Ago2-expressing neurons (p > 0.05, Mann–Whitney test).
