Zinc finger arrays selected by OPEN can be directly cloned into the ZFC expression plasmids listed using unique XbaI and BamHI sites. The resulting plasmids express a ZFN with a linker of sequence LRGS between the last conserved histidine of the carboxy-terminal zinc finger and the first amino acid of the FokI nuclease domain.
