Bar charts of key metabolites in MANOVA. a) The mean metabolite concentrations (in mM) for four metabolites in each of the six groups of tumour indicated by the key. These metabolites contribute the most to Canonical variate 1 in Figure 6b. Error bars are given as the standard error of the mean. These are the four metabolites that were found to be important in the MANOVA separation of meningiomas from other tumour types.
