Increasing amounts of IN WT or mutants IN Y143C or Y143R were incubated in presence of donor and acceptor DNA. Reaction was then processed as described in material and methods. An example of products obtained in a typical experiment is illustrated in fig 3A. The position and the structure of the different products half-site (HSI), full-site (FSI) and donor/donor integration (d/d) are shown. Figure 3B corresponds to the quantification of several independent experiments. Heterointegration corresponds to densitometry of the FSI and FSI+HIS bands (see products indicated in Figure 3A).
