HEL11–27 mutations at positions P5, P8, and P9 as well as a truncated HEL peptide (HEL11–21) were tested at various concentrations in a classic T cell presentation assay using irradiated splenocytes as APCs and clone 21.30 as responder cells. IL-2 release was measured using an IL-2 reporter cell line. Each assay was repeated at least twice. A representative experiment is shown. Values are mean of triplicates ± SD.
