Hematoxylin and eosin stained sections of lung showed the presence of large eosinophilic crystals (arrows) in the lungs of moribund CybbY/- (B) and Cybb-/- (C) mice. No crystals were observed in the lungs of age-matched SR/CR Cybb+/- (A) or Cybb+/+ mice.
