Functional significance of the dynamic gene expression changes induced by estrogen in hormone-responsive BC cells. The genes of estrogen-responsive timed cluster were analyzed by using the Database for Annotation, Visualization and Integrated Discovery to identify enriched gene ontology biological process (GO-BP) categories in each cluster. The heatmap shows only clusters and terms above significance threshold (Fisher’s exact test P value <0.01), where gray tonality is proportional to significant P value and white boxes indicate that the GO-BP term did not reach the P value cut-off.
