A: C3H10T1/2 cells, stably transfected with the SMAD reporter pcDNA3.1(CAG)15-luc, were treated with 20 ng/ml myostatin that had been preincubated for 30 minutes with or without increasing amounts of PF-354. Preincubation with PF-354 neutralized myostatin activity dose-dependently with an IC50 of 11 nmol/L. Data are means ± SEM, n = 3, and representative of at least three separate experiments.
