Histone methylation at group D/E gene promoters. ChIP assay was performed with anti-H3K9me3 (A), anti-H3K9me2 (B), anti-H3K27me2 (C), anti-H4K20me3 (D), anti-H4K20me2 (E), anti-H4K20me1 (F), anti-H3K9me3 (G) anti-H3K9me2 (H), or nonspecific antibodies. Immunoprecipitated DNA was quantified by quantitative real-time PCR. Results are normalized to those for RP49 sequences and represent the averages of the results of three independent experiments.
