a

The TMD of flaviviruses consists of two α-helices (T1 and T2) defined based on a recent cryo-EM study (74) and a stretch of six mostly nonhydrophobic residues between them (T1-T2). For coronavirus, only the E protein, which is the major determinant of localization in the ER-Golgi intermediate, is analyzed. Similarly, for bunyaviridae, only the Gn protein, the major determinant of localization in the Golgi complex, is analyzed.
