Average amount of ipsilateral hippocampal neuron loss (as percentage of the contralateral hippocampal neuron count) in four study groups. Data are mean and SEM of all mice surviving to day 7 (n = 6 for the LR and PNA groups, n = 3 for the HEX group, and n = 4 for the HTS group).
