SVCs were isolated from the epi-WAT samples then were stained with F4/80, CD11b, and CD11c and analyzed by FACS for F4/80⁺CD11b⁺ (A and B). Samples were gated for F4/80⁺CD11b⁺ and examined for coexpression of CD11c conjugated with phycoerythrin (PE) (A and E). The relative mRNA levels of the macrophage maker F4/80 (C) and M1-like marker CD11c (D) were analyzed by qPCR. Data are expressed as the mean ± S.E., n = 4 per group, **, p < 0.01 compared with the HFD group.
