Distribution of age of patients with cough. The number of patients with acute and subacute cough is larger under the age of 40 years compared to the number of patients with chronic cough. The number of patients with chronic cough was larger compared to the number of patients with acute and subacute cough in most of the generation aged more than 50 years.
