Hearts were pre-perfused for 45 min with netrin-1 (100 ng/ml) before ischemia/reperfusion (20 min ischemia, 60 min reperfusion with netrin-1). Sections of hearts were stained with 2,3,5-TTC and infarct area calculated as % of risk area.
