HSP27 associates with caspase-3 in C2C12 skeletal muscle cells. Lysates from C2C12 cells treated as follows were immunoprecipitated with anti-HSP27 antibody before immunoblotting with anticaspase-3 antibody. Control vehicle, E2 10⁻⁸ M 17β-estradiol for 40 min, H₂O₂ 0.5 mM H₂O₂ for 8 h, H₂O₂ + E2 10⁻⁸ M 17β-estradiol for 40 min and then H₂O₂ for 8 h.
