Skeletal muscle mRNA expression of stearoyl-CoA desaturase 1 (SCD1), diacylglycerol acyltransferase 1 (DGAT1), adipose triglyceride lipase (ATGL), sterol regulatory element binding protein 1c (SREBP1c), and peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-α (PPAR-α) and -γ (PPAR-γ) in sedentary control subjects and endurance-trained athletes.
