Disk diffusion assays were performed with 1 M diamide (A), 200 mM tellurite K₂TeO₃ (B) or 200 mM CuSO₄ (C) in TSB medium. Quantitative analysis of growth inhibition is shown in the upper panels. The lower section shows representative results of stress sensitivity assays. Strains SA6 (SH1000/pMK4), SA30 (ΔcymR/pMK4) and SA31 (ΔcymR/pDIA5780) were used for complementation experiments. Results correspond to the mean values with standard deviations and are representative of at least three independent experiments.
