After the short-lived pure 1B_u⁺(0) emission, the strong and broad persistent peak from the 1B_u⁺(0) + X⁻(υ) diabatic pair appears in each Car; here, the X⁻(υ) level corresponds to the 1B_u⁻(1), 1B_u⁻(2) and 3A_g⁻(1) levels in Cars (n = 9, 10 and 11, respectively). The 1B_u⁻(0) → 1A_g⁻(0), 3A_g⁻(0) → 1A_g⁻(0) and 1B_u⁺(0) → 1A_g⁻(1) stimulated emission peaks are also seen together with the 1B_u⁻ and 2A_g⁻ transient absorption peaks (Reproduced from Ref. [16]).
