Time-resolved stimulated-emission and transient-absorption spectra after coherent excitation with ∼30 fs pulses aiming at the 1Bu+(0) levels of Cars (n = 9–11) bound to LH2 antenna complexes from Rba. sphaeroides G1C, Rba. sphaeroides 2.4.1.and Rsp. molischianum. The origins of the relevant electronic states, in stimulated emission and transient absorption, are indicated together with specific vibronic transitions when necessary; ‘se’, ‘sed’ and ‘bga’ labeled on peaks indicate pure stimulated emission, stimulated emission from the diabatic pair, and bleaching of the ground-state absorption, respectively (Reproduced from Ref.
