ETD-MS2/MS3 comparison of glycosylated and non-glycosylated CL peptide amino acids 156–175 after treatment with endo-F2. CID-MS2 of the [M + 3H]3+ peptide ion at m/z = 829.3 Da resulted in the removal of the core fucose from the CL glycopeptide. The dominant [M + 3H]3+ product ion a at m/z = 780.8 Da was further analyzed by ETD-MS3 and the resulting spectrum was compared with the ETD-MS2 spectrum from the unmodified [M + 2H]2+ peptide ion at m/z = 713.1 Da.
