Histological detection of gene transfer into tumor and liver in mice following intravenous injection. Tumor and liver from two representative mice injected with 1011 or 1012 viral particles AdCMVβgal were cryosectioned and stained for β–galactosidase expression. A lower dose (1010 particles) revealed proportionally fewer blue cells in both liver and tumor (data not shown).
