The comparison between PCR amplification profiles in the presence of different inhibitors using KOD and SOD analyses showed that SOD is significantly more sensitive than KOD in all the tested conditions (*** p < 0.001; Z test for difference of proportion), whereas KOD and SOD specificity is similar in the same conditions (p > 0.05; Z test for difference of proportion).
