The indicated cell lines were transfected with pcDNA3.1 (control vector) or pcDNA3.1-hERα46 for 24 h and then treated with EtOH (vehicle control) or 10 nM E₂ for 24 h. 20 μg WCE was separated by 10% SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted for ERβ (A) The membrane was stripped and reprobed for βactin. Quantitation of the data (B) are described in Materials and Methods. The blot is representative of 2 separate experiments showing similar results.
