Frontal connectivity with the thalamus increases with age, and Temporal connectivity with the thalamus weakens with age. Differences in connectivity between children and adults with premotor/motor and somatosensory cortex were also revealed with the direct comparisons, while the occipical/parietal ROI showed very little difference between the groups.
