Grp94+/+ and −/− ESCs were able to differentiate into adipocytes (top panel), hepatocytes (middle panel) and neurons (bottom panel). The adipocytes and hepatocytes were indicated by oil red and indocyanine green staining positive cells, respectively. The neurons were recognized by their morphology. Scale bars represent 200 µm.
