(a) Analytical gel-filtration profile of holo-RslA and apo-RslA suggests that RslA exists as dimer and tetramer in solution. Inset: The calibration curve obtained using standard molecular weight markers. Red and blue stars in the inset correspond to the observed molecular weights of apo-RslA and holo-RslA. (b) DLS experiments suggest a hydrodynamic radius (Rh) of 3.0 nm with a high relative standard deviation of ~ 14%. The dimeric and tetrameric oligomers of RslA could not be resolved by DLS experiments.
