A) Whole cell lysates of E. coli, expressing the recombinant, His-tagged CihC_BR, CihC_BD and the indicated CihC_BR deletion mutants were separated by SDS-PAGE, transferred to nitrocellulose and were either probed with an anti His-tag mAb (upper panel) or subjected to ligand affinity blotting using NHS as a source for human C4bp and C1-Inh.
