Patients have been classified according to the CD4 count: i) group A no immunodepression (n = 37); ii) group I immunodepression (n = 16). Children under 12 month of age were considered as immunodepressed if the CD4+ count was <500/mm3, and children of more than 12 month of age were considered immunodepressed if the CD4+ was <750/mm3 [11].
